Monica Lin Morishita is a Gold, National Magazine Award winning writer who has written articles for Macleans, Toronto Life, Chatelaine, Canadian Living and the Globe and Mail.
She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies; and the University of British Columbia with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
For a decade, she worked in Television under the umbrella of Chum Group Limited for Citytv, MuchMusic, Bravo, CP24 and MZTV before becoming a freelance journalist.
The eldest of five children, Monica was born and raised in Toronto but spent endless summers and holidays in Taipei, Taiwan where her family had a second home and where her fathers’ business was stationed.
Monica lives in Toronto, Canada.
